Just in case you didn't know, Estes Park is the Epi Center of Big Foot Activities. There have been numerous sightings inside and outside the park. We even have a world renowned Big Foot expert living in Estes. Before you set off on a Big Foot adventure, be sure to fill up on Big Foot Donuts.    When you stay at the Overlook, you can borrow our sleds, snowshoes and even crampons for FREE. This can save you hundreds of dollars. We usually have everything you need. However, sometimes you might need something special. Luckily, there are lots of places in town that offer rentals. Here is just one example along with current pricing as of 12/2022. There is an excellent sledding hill inside the park. It is just 15 minutes away. It is called Hidden Valley. There are even picnic tables and rest rooms. Just a mile down the road is the YMCA. The offer lots of winter activities including ice skating. Be sure to check on what is happening inside the park. There are frequently guided snowshoeing and birding trips.  |
