Believe it or not, we have a lot of wild turkeys in and around Estes. However, for some unknown reason, at least to me, they seem to only appear just before Thanksgiving. This seems rather risky to me. But what do I know! This past weekend, and today, four turkeys visited and came right to the steps of the Overlook. They hung around for about 15 minutes before wandering off. Just one of the many visitors we have on a daily basis.
