NEW Outdoor Bar - Scheduled to open on Memorial Day

INTRODUCING "ODIN'S PUB"

Its almost ready!  After breaking ground last spring, we are nearly ready to open our Outdoor Bar.  Woo Hoo.

What it is....

• A place to sit an enjoy the views from either inside or outside.
• A place to watch TV from the bar or just about anywhere in the yard.
• A place to develop shared memories with your friends and family.

• Granite Bar Top (yet to be installed)
• 3 Outdoor Tractor Seats
• 3 Indoor Bar Stools
• Filled with many interesting English Pub type of decor (Imagine a Jackalope Mount, Raccoon Skin, Coyote Skin, Rabbit Skin Coat, Raccoon Hat, Dragons, Vikings, Traditional English Pub Decor, etc.)
• Private Window Seat for sitting and reading a book while overlooking the valley
• Windows that automatically rotate up and out of the way
• Faux London Phone Booth
• An Electric Fireplace
• Solid Hand Hewn Oak Flooring
• Cathedral Wood Ceiling

Bar rules...

• No one under 21 years of age.  Why? Because there is lots of interesting and somewhat valuable stuff that can be easily broken.  This isn't a children's playhouse.
• BYOB - we don't provide any alcohol or drinks.  You need to bring your own..
• Must limit your enthusiasm ... we don't want any neighbors complaining about noise.

Why is it called Odin's Pub?

• Odin was a Viking God.  He is typically depicted as an old man with a beard.  He was responsible for determining which fallen Vikings would have the honor of living in Valhalla, which was their heaven.  Odin would send beautiful women, called his Valkyries, to bring the fallen Viking Heroes he selected,  to Valhalla. Since the Overlook is ideally situated above the Valhalla Cabin Resort, the idea of this being a perch for Odin seemed to make sense.  For those that are followers of the Game of Thrones, this probably makes more sense!
