View from the Moraine Park Amphitheater

Here is the view from the Moraine Park Amphitheater. This shot was taken just as you exit the forest and reach the amphitheater. This is the perfect spot for a picnic or even a wedding. It is one of the many hidden jewels of the park that are seldom used but offer spectacular views. There are even rest rooms, an indoor sitting area, museum and visitor center right next to the amphitheater. There is also a large parking area where you can catch the park shuttle to all the best hiking spots within the park. This shuttle is completely FREE.

Traveling solely can be a liberating experience for one, I enjoyed it as it had always signified freedom and grit for me. I think that's the reason I cherish journey & leisure time so much. If you are backpacking to your destination with a flexible schedule it's like to look for lodging on the spot / go show is still very possible, this is the two times we do when traveling to a new destination looking for lodging upon arrival in the city you singgahi. But if your goal is to vacation with family, friends or couples with a definite itinerary of course making reservations from the far away is a wise thing that can ensure you get an inn that suits your tastes and in accordance with your budget.

Agree with you. The spot perfect for picnic and wedding. Such beautiful place.
Moraine Amphitheater sits in the northeast corner of Moraine Park, within Rocky Mountain National Park and at the base of Eagle Cliff Mountain. Picnic or travelling with family would be complete if you can find best place to stay and comfortable one. Privacy and tranquility would be primary.
